The League of Women Voters of Concord-Carlisle has invited the two candidates running for state representative in the 14th Middlesex District to a public forum at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 17 in the auditorium at the Willard School, 185 Powder Mill Road in Concord. The district covers all of Concord and Carlisle; precincts 1, 2, and 6 in Acton; and precincts 1 and 9 in Chelmsford. The Nov. 6 election ballot has the incumbent, state Representative Cory Atkins, a Concord Democrat, facing Republican challenger Michael Benn, also of Concord.
