Rockland High School’s student newspaper, The Veritas, went online with a Web edition and a Facebook link launched when school resumed in September. “I feel like the online edition is the place where we want to put current breaking news, and we’ll go in depth in the printed edition,” said adviser Madeline Lannin Cotton, who teaches journalism. Hosted on a free blog site, www.rhsveritas.wordpress.com is updated daily, drawing readers via Facebook links. Polls have been popular, and a video interview with former Celtics player Chris Herren also has drawn views.
