The town’s Open Space Committee is sponsoring a guided Sunday Stroll on Snow Hill on Oct. 28 at 4 p.m, starting at the small circle at the bottom of Snows Hill Lane by Centre Street. The hourlong walk will follow the trail through town conservation land to the “old hemlock,” one of the oldest trees in Dover, according to an announcement on the event. Appropriate footwear for uneven and possible wet ground is recommended for the route described as “not too strenuous.” The walk will proceed even in misty rain. “Polite” dogs on leashes are welcome.
