A group from the Interact Club at Ipswich High School is scheduled to speak at the United Nations in New York City on Saturday. The group will make a presentation to representatives from other Interact clubs — service clubs linked to Rotary International — from all over the world, with some UN delegates present. A total of 70 Ipswich students will make the trip, with eight presenting. The topic for the Ipswich club, whose numbers have swelled from 20 to 30 members two years ago to more than 117 now, will be how to build a strong Interact Club. Among the other Interact clubs in attendance will be clubs from Rockport, Gloucester, and Chelsea.end of story marker
