Eastern Nazarene College has partnered with Nazarene Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Mo., to offer divinity courses at the Quincy school. Eastern Nazarene joins three other schools — Mount Vernon Nazarene University, Southern Nazarene University, and Trevecca Nazarene University — that have partnered with the Missouri seminary to offer master’s courses. Students will take classes either online or at one of Nazarene Theological’s satellite schools. “With this partnership, we are poised to begin writing a new chapter about theological education and clergy formation in ENC’s educational region,” said Jeffrey Barker, an Eastern Nazarene associate professor of religion and philosophy who will teach one of the two new classes.
