The Board of Selectmen is seeking applicants to fill three remaining vacant library trustee positions. All six trustee seats became vacant last January when all members resigned after the alleged theft of $800,000 by a library worker. Selectmen have filled three of the seats, but three remain vacant. Selectmen, meanwhile, are inviting residents to apply for two seats on the Cemetery Commission and three seats on the Affordable Housing Trust board, all of which expire Dec. 31; and for five seats on the Cable Commission that are currently vacant. Anyone who would like to apply for the available seats on those three boards or for three library trustee positions is asked to send a letter of interest or resume to selectmen by Nov. 26.
