Looking to expand career services through its Joan H. Brack Career Development Center program, the Natick Service Council will be running an intensive four-week customer service training program for MetroWest residents who are unemployed or under-employed. Executive director Greg Tutuny said the classroom training will culminate with internships at local companies, and graduates will receive a nationally recognized certificate in customer service. He said the council is working to formalize training for “different job roles that are in demand in the MetroWest area.” The free program can accommodate 10 participants and will start in early January. The class will meet four days a week from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and cover the major aspects of customer service that can be used in all environments, whether big corporations or retail sales, said Tutuny. To apply, call Amy Canty, director of the Brack Center, at 508-655-1791.
