The Watertown Food Pantry, administered by the town’s Council on Aging, can now accept credit card donations via the Internet. To donate to the food pantry, visit www.watertown-ma.gov, select “Council on Aging/Senior Center” from the “Town Departments” dropdown menu, and then click on “Watertown Food Pantry” from the left side of the Council on Aging’s page. The pantry also needs donations of canned tuna and soup, coffee and tea, canned tomato sauces, canned beans, macaroni and cheese, peanut butter and jelly, and oatmeal and cereal. The pantry is based at the rear of St. John’s United Methodist Church at 80 Mt. Auburn St., and is open to Watertown residents on Tuesdays from 10 to 11:30 a.m. and Thursdays from 4 to 6 p.m. Donations can be dropped off Tuesdays from 9 to 11:30 a.m., and Thursdays from 3 to 6 p.m. Call 617-972-6429 for more information.
