The town has launched a survey to collect ideas from residents about the community pool facility planned for 900 Worcester St. The survey, available at www.surveymonkey.com/s/wellesleypoolsurvey, asks residents what features in a pool would be important to them. Questions touch on water temperature, depth, other exercise equipment, locker rooms, and community meeting rooms, as well as whether there should be one pool or multiple pools. Town Meeting voted in June to spend $3.8 million for an 8-acre parcel on Route 9, the site of the former St. James the Great Church, as the location for a community recreation center including a pool, skating rink, and playing field. The survey can be filled out online, or residents can complete a paper version that will be included with the next electric bill, and send it to Wellesley Recreation, 90 Washington St., Wellesley, MA 02481, or fax it to 781-237-3558.
