Adults with developmental disabilities who have been taking classes with photographer Stewart Woodward through the Greater Waltham ARC will have a reception and exhibition of their work on Nov. 29 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in Woodward’s Visual Talent Group space at 9 Church St. Woodward said this is the first time he has taught a class through the ARC program, which was founded in 1956 by advocates for community-based services instead of institutionalization for developmentally disabled individuals. “I really enjoyed getting back all of the pictures and looking at them,” said Woodward. “A lot of the work is fairly similar to mine,” he added, noting a focus on geometric shapes in nature.
