Town Manager Jeffrey M. Hull has announced that a new principal assessor, Karen Rassias, a graduate of Emmanuel College, will begin work on Dec. 3. She succeeds Humphrey “Skip” J. Moynihan, who is retiring Nov. 30 after 20 years in the job. Rassias comes to Wilmington with more than a decade of experience, having served for eight years as deputy assessor in Saugus and, more recently, as principal assessor in West Newbury, also for eight years.
