Lincoln police arrested a man they said was driving drunk with a child in his car around 2 a.m. Saturday.
Police stopped Dingsit Yam, 27, who has numerous addresses in Massachusetts, on a civil violation on Route 2, Lincoln Police Sergeant Paul Westlund said.
Police determined Yam was drunk and charged him with operating under the influence of liquor and endangering the welfare of a child.
Westlund said he did not know the child’s age, gender, or relation to Yam. A family member picked the child up from the police station after Yam’s arrest, Westlund said. The child was not hurt.
Yam posted bail and is scheduled to be arraigned in Concord District Court Monday morning, Westlund said.
