The Stoughton Master Plan Committee is still seeking members to serve on focus groups to help update the master plan for the first time since 1970. The focus groups are: open space/ recreation, transportation, town image, public infrastructure, downtown, schools, energy and sustainability, and healthy community. According to Town Planner Noreen O’Toole, the focus groups are intended “to broaden public engagement and participation throughout the community. These discussions will help to identify issues, goals, and strategies for the master plan.” Those interested in becoming a member of a focus group can contact O’Toole at notoole@stoughton-ma.gov or by calling 781-232-9201. For more information, go to www.stoughtonmasterplan.orgend of story marker
