Stores in downtown Gloucester will stay open late Thursday and several will offer refreshments and specials as part of the 38th annual Ladies Night, one of several downtown events scheduled this month. On Saturday, the Middle Street Walk will include concerts and special events at the Cape Ann Museum, Sawyer Free Library, Trinity Church, Universal Unitarian Church, Sargent House Museum, and other locations, and the annual lighting of the Lobster Trap Tree is scheduled at 4:45 p.m. Bank Gloucester will hold its tree lighting a 5 p.m. on Dec. 10 with a reception in the bank lobby, the 38th annual Men’s Night is scheduled for Dec. 13, and the first annual Family and Friends Night is Dec. 20.
