WESTMINSTER, Mass. (AP) — Authorities say a 27-year-old Gardner woman has died in a head-on crash in Westminster and her 9-year-old daughter has landed in the hospital.

The Worcester district attorney’s office says a car driven by Elisabeth Estrada-Turner collided with a pickup truck shortly after 4 p.m. on Wednesday on Route 140.

Estrada-Turner was pronounced dead on arrival at Henry Heywood Hospital in Gardner.

Her daughter was taken to University of Massachusetts-Memorial Hospital in Worcester.

The truck driver, Frank Rosa of Jamestown, R.I. and Ryan Rosa, his son, were transported to Heywood Hospital. Conditions were not available.

Police are seeking a possible witness who was driving a car that pulled out of a side street at the time of the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.end of story marker
