HANOVER, N.H. (AP) — Massachusetts trailed by two goals after one period but rallied to beat Bemidji State 4-3 Sunday in the semifinals of the Ledyard Bank Classic men’s hockey tournament.
The Minutemen (7-9-2) scored three times in the second period and Zack LaRue netted the game-winning goal at 9:01 of the third to help Massachusetts snap a three-game losing streak.
Branden Gracel assisted on three goals for the Minutemen.
Aaron McLeod and Brance Orban scored for Bemidji State (5-10-3) in the first period and Jordan George added a late goal.
Kevin Boyle stopped 17 shots for the Minutemen and Andrew Walsh made 29 saves for the Beavers.
