DESSERT DRINK: Hot Mocha Madness

Paul Wahlberg; Alma Nove and Wahlburgers, Hingham

Though Paul Wahlberg makes this signature drink with high-quality chocolate these days, he joked that it was the cheap powdered stuff when he was a kid. “But Mom always made hot cocoa with Fluff,” he said. Since becoming adults, the entire Wahlberg family has jazzed up this holiday drink, adding alcohol and spices to the mixture. “The mocha flavor with Bailey’s is a great combo . . . both those blend beautifully with Fluff. It’s not winter without Fluff,” he said. This also can be a sweet treat for kids — without the alcohol, of course.
