WEST BRIDGEWATER, Mass. (AP) — A state police sergeant has suffered what police say were minor injuries after his cruiser struck a utility pole in West Bridgewater.
A department spokesman says the trooper was on Route 28 when he struck the pole at about 6:50 a.m. Monday.
He was taken by ambulance to Brockton Hospital for evaluation. He was treated and released.
The cause of the crash is under investigation and no additional information was released.
