The Pembroke Public Library is bringing back its Teen Tech Squad to help adults navigate through the electronic world. On Thursday evenings in January from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., a team of two technology-savvy teens will be available to provide guidance on such things as making use of new electronic gadgets or navigating social media sites. Those interested in receiving help are asked to make an appointment by calling 781-293-6771, ext. 19. The library first offered the program in the late winter and spring of last year, according to Jessica Lamarre, the youth services librarian. She said she decided the period just after the holidays would be a good time to offer it again because there may be adults needing help with their new devices. “It’s a great opportunity for one-on-one time to learn with kids who are really good with technology and patient,” Lamarre said. If there is sufficient interest, she said the squad might return at a later date.
