The Police Department has two new officers — bringing the total full-time roster to 16, according to Acting Chief William Quigley. He said officers Christopher Dias and Anthony Truglia graduated from the MBTA Transit Police Academy on Dec. 18 and are both assigned to senior Cohasset officers as part of their six-week field training. Dias, the 30-year-old son of a Boston police officer, is from Braintree and graduated with a degree in criminal justice from Salve Regina University, Quigley said. Truglia, 28, is from Cohasset and has a degree in criminal justice from Suffolk University, said Quigley.
