The Duxbury Clipper’s website eduxbury.com was hacked last week by someone who appears to hack sites around the world that aren’t properly secured, Clipper Ombudsman Will Zackman said. “I don’t think it’s specific to the Clipper in any way,” Zachman said. Visitors to the site saw a blank screen with nothing but “hacked by Hmei7” in the top left of the screen. The paper worked to get the site back online last week and better secured. The paper’s other site, duxburyclipper.com, was unaffected.
