High Five

Ryan Boulter , Mansfield: The Hornets’ “other” sophomore averaged 17.5 points per game in a 2-0 week, draining a pair of pivotal third-quarter 3-pointers in an important Hockomock League win over Taunton.

Tyler Gibson , Rockland: The Bulldogs stayed unbeaten, thanks in large part to the play of their 6-foot-6 senior captain, who averaged 22 points, 16.5 rebounds, and 5.5 blocks in wins over Carver and previously undefeated Mashpee.

Game of the Week

Oliver Ames girls (7-0) vs. North Attleborough (7-1), Tues., 6:30

With a showdown between Hockomock League powers — their only clash of the regular season — something has to give. Both the Davenport-leading Tigers and Kelley-Rex-leading Rocketeers are 5-0 in league play through Wednesday. North Attleborough must solve the hosts’ stingy defense (allowing just 36 ppg) and corral Sacred Heart-bound senior Caitlyn Abela (20.7 points per game).
