Teens charged after BB gun shots

Norwood police responded to a report of teens shooting a BB gun on Jan. 3 near Alandale Parkway, where similar incidents have been reported recently. According to the police report, the officers arrived and spotted three teens, who immediately ran off. A State Police K-9 unit helped search for the suspects, who were found on Lane Drive, then identified and interviewed with permission of their parents. Two 15-year olds were charged with vandalism, walking on the railroad tracks, and possession of a BB gun by a minor. A 14-year-old was charged with walking on the railroad tracks. All are from Norwood.   end of story marker
