The Bedford Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with Bedford Youth & Family Services (BYFS), is inviting nominations for its second annual “Ray of Hope” award. Designed to identify high-school-age teenagers who have performed outstanding service to the Bedford community and serve as role models for their peers, the RAY of Hope Program recognizes young people who contribute to the well-being of the Bedford community. Nominations can be submitted until Feb. 1. To nominate a young person, download the application from www.bedfordchamber.org or pick up a hard copy at the BYFS or Chamber of Commerce offices. For questions about the award, contact BCOC executive director Maureen Sullivan at 781-275-8503 or BYFS director Sue Baldauf at 781-275-7727.
