MARSHFIELD, Mass. (AP) — Police say one person is under arrest and one person is in the hospital after a home invasion at a Marshfield house where marijuana was being grown.

Police were called to the Acorn Street home at about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday where they found three men tied up inside. The men had been pistol whipped and apparently the gun had discharged, although no one was struck by a bullet. One resident was flown to a Boston hospital.

Officers say they found an ‘‘elaborate’’ marijuana growing operation in the house, two pounds of marijuana and several thousand dollars cash.

Police arrested 20-year-old Eddy Monteiro of Brockton and are looking for two other suspects. Monteiro is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday on charges of kidnapping, home invasion and assault with a deadly weapon.end of story marker
