WOBURN, Mass. (AP) — A Framingham man charged with fatally stabbing his wife after finding out he was not the father of her baby is going to trial.
The MetroWest Daily News (http://bit.ly/WwJD9O ) reports that jury selection in the murder trial of 27-year-old Kyle Alleyne is scheduled to start Monday in Middlesex Superior Court.
Alleyne is accused of killing 19-year-old Heather Alleyne in August 2010.
Authorities say Alleyne stabbed his wife 10 days after she gave birth to a baby girl because he was angry the child was not his.
He was arrested several days later trying to cross from Texas into Mexico.
He has denied killing her, saying she was alive when he left for Mexico.
He is charged with first-degree murder, assault and battery and reckless endangerment of a child.
