BOSTON (AP) — Firefighters are battling a five-alarm fire — and frozen hydrants — in the city’s East Boston neighborhood.

Fire officials say the blaze began at about 11:50 p.m. Monday and that firefighters had most of it extinguished by early Tuesday.

WCVB-TV reports (bit.ly/VG1jFe) that frozen hydrants in the area are hindering firefighters’ efforts.

No injuries have been reported.
