Planning Board to hear development proposals
This story is from BostonGlobe.com, the only place for complete digital access to the Globe.
The Planning Board at its meeting on Feb. 21 will hold a public hearing on an application by Liscotti Development Corp. for site plan approval and three special permits for a mixed-use development it proposes to build at 201 Middlesex Turnpike. Bank of America formerly operated a branch at the site, but has since closed it, leaving only a drive-through ATM. One of the special permits is to include a coffee shop with the planned development. Another is to allow a new drive-through window for the coffee shop. The third would allow the drive-through ATM to remain. In other business, the board will hold a public hearing on special permit application by New Age Oriental Therapy. The business, which operates at Burlington Mall, wants to move to a different space in the mall. The board will also continue a public hearing into a proposal to add a section to the town’s zoning bylaw to govern outdoor lighting in town. Paul Valleli, a Town Meeting member, has submitted the proposal as an article for the annual Town Meeting in May. Thursday’s meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m. at Town Hall.
