High 5

Sam Brogioli , Wareham: The Vikings had their 22-game winning streak halted in the Division 3 South final with a 77-71 loss to Martha’s Vineyard, but the senior guard, the coach’s son, was terrific. He drained seven 3-pointers for a career-high 21 points, including four treys in the second quarter.

Christian Davis , Cohasset: The senior captain’s final high school performance — a game-high 24 points vs. eventual Division 4 state champ Bishop Connolly — was nothing to be ashamed of. His five second-half 3-pointers pushed him past fellow captain Shane Haggerty (20 points).

Alana Gilmer , Archbishop Williams: The sophomore forward averaged 16.5 points and nine rebounds per game in the Bishops’ run to the Division 3 state final. Her performance in the South final was particularly impressive, as she put up a game-high 21 points — including 11 in the second quarter, two more than Ashland scored as a team — eight rebounds, four assists, four steals, and two blocks.

Michela North , Duxbury: Her scholastic career may have ended with a 47-43 loss to Medfield in the Division 2 South final, but the 6-foot-2 senior captain went out with a bang. In her last two games, she averaged 22 points and 12.5 rebounds, highlighted by a 23-point, 12-rebound, 11-block effort against Notre Dame (Hingham), the same game she scored her 1,500th career point.

Kyle Wisniewski , Mansfield: The brother of Hornets’ captain Zach Wisniewski doesn’t often light up the scoreboard, but he came up big twice for Mansfield last week. First he netted 16 points, tying for the team-high, off the bench vs. North Quincy in the Division 1 South final, then recorded a last-minute defensive zone steal and the assist on the game-winning basket vs. Central Catholic in the EMass final.
