BOSTON (AP) — Police say a 26-year-old man has been fatally shot in Boston.
Police responded to a call of a person shot in the city’s Jamaica Plain neighborhood just before 8:30 p.m. Sunday;.
The victim was taken by ambulance to Brigham and Women’s Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
A neighbor told The Boston Globe she heard two shots and it appeared the victim has been shot in the chest.
Police did not immediately announce the victim’s name. There was no word on suspects.
