The Massachusetts Audubon Society’s seventh annual Work for Wildlife volunteer event will take place from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at 15 of its sites across the state. People of all ages and backgrounds are encouraged to pitch in on tasks ranging from spreading wood chips and restoring trails to clearing invasive plants, hauling brush, and applying mulch and compost to gardens. Nearby areas taking part include the Drumlin Farm Wildlife Sanctuary on South Great Road, where one focus will be pulling up invasive garlic mustard. Registration is required; for more information and to learn how to get involved, visit www.massaudubon.org/workforwildlife.
