Registration is open for the Park Department’s summer recreation program. The program will begin July 1, and run for eight weekly sessions, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays. The activities are open to children entering grades 1 through 6 this fall, and include sports, swimming, arts and crafts, board games, fishing derbies, and field trips. The fee for a 5-day session is $150, with a 10 percent discount for families signing up a second child or for multiple weeks.
