The MBTA is launching a daily express train this week between Worcester and Boston that will cut about 20 minutes from a normal trip. The new inbound express leaves Worcester at 6:20 a.m., stops in Framingham at 7 a.m., and arrives at South Station at 7:43 a.m., after a stop at Back Bay. The outbound express will leave South Station at 5:35 p.m., stop in Framingham at 6:13 p.m. and arrive in Worcester at 6:43 p.m. Richard Davey, state transportation secretary, said a round trip between the cities costs $20. The express trains will probably feature six cars, and each car can accommodate approximately 175 passengers.
