City lifts outdoor watering limits

Marlborough has lifted its restrictions on nonessential outdoor water use. The watering restrictions, which went into effect May 6, banned irrigation of lawns via sprinklers or automatic irrigation systems, most car washing, and most washing of building exteriors, parking lots, driveways, and sidewalks. Ron LaFreniere, Marlborough’s public works commissioner, announced that the limits were lifted as of Wednesday.
