2 Dorchester deaths investigated

Authorities are investigating two separate deaths in Dorchester, neither believed to be suspicious, according to the Suffolk District Attorney’s office and Boston police. One body was found in a wooded area near Columbia Road and the off-ramp of Interstate 93 southbound in Dorchester this morning, said the Suffolk District Attorney’s office. The body, identified as a 24-year-old Billerica man, was discovered by a passerby, who called police around 10 a.m., said Jake Wark, a spokesman for the Suffolk DA’s office. Boston police are also investigating an unrelated death in Dorchester. Police were called to 74 West Cottage St.
