The Winchester Planning Board is seeking public input as it develops a vision for the redevelopment of the town center. The plan will guide the town’s efforts for proposing revisions to zoning rules that govern the area. The Planning Board is holding two meetings this week. From 6 to 10 p.m. Wednesday town planners are scheduled to discuss the merits of developing rules regarding form-based zoning elements, such as frontage, facades, material, signs, lighting, and landscape. From 7:30 to 10 p.m. Thursday discussion is likely to focus on the identification of state, townwide, or town center infrastructure improvements or changes that are needed to facilitate town center redevelopment efforts. Both meetings are being held at Town Hall, 71 Mount Vernon St. For more information about the redevelopment of the town center, contact town planner Elizabeth Ware at 781-721-7162.
