The Reading Public Library now offers access to tutor.com, a service that helps with math and science homework, writing assignments, test preparation, and resume writing. Tutors are available from 2 to 11 p.m. daily to help with school work ranging from kindergarten to college level, as well as studies leading toward a general equivalency degree or a career change. To connect with a tutor, patrons will need their Reading Public Library card, personal identification number, and a computer or mobile device with Internet access. Visit www.readingpl.org and click on the link to Tutor.com from the home page in the “Highlights” section or on the library’s online “Research and Learning” page. The service is free to library patrons. Full story for BostonGlobe.com subscribers.
