DeFelice reelected to Retirement Board

Richard DeFelice was recently reelected to serve another three-year term on the Wakefield Retirement Board. DeFelice outpaced his opponent, John J. MacKay Jr., by 174 votes to 119. The five-member board consists of two elected members, one member appointed by selectmen, one member appointed by the other four members, and the town accountant. The two elected members are chosen by the active employees and retirees who belong to the town’s contributory retirement system. DeFelice and MacKay are both retired from the Police Department.
