The Abington Board of Health will hold two public hearings on proposed smoking regulations. On Sept. 16 at 7 p.m. in Town Hall, the board will hear comments related to a proposed amendment that would ban smoking in membership associations, including private clubs like the Knights of Columbus. On Oct. 7 at 7 p.m., board members will hear comments related to proposed regulations that would include capping the number of local tobacco sales permits at 29, expanding regulations to include e-cigarettes, and banning the sale of tobacco products in stores with pharmacies.
