The race, which will wind through MassBay’s Wellesley campus, will benefit the Krystle Campbell Scholarship Fund; it was started in her honor to support business students. Campbell graduated from MassBay in 2005 with an associate’s degree in business administration and transferred to the University of Massachusetts Boston, according to MassBay. Campbell, 29, was at the finish line of the Boston Marathon on April 15 when two bombs exploded . The memorial 5K will begin at 50 Oakland St. at 10 a.m., rain or shine. The event costs $20 in advance, or $25 the day of the event. The first 300 registrants will receive a T-shirt. Officials said they are also still accepting sponsors for the event.
