A Suffolk Superior Court jury found a Swampscott man guilty Tuesday of brutally beating his former business partner and biting off part of the victim’s nose in May 2012, the Suffolk district attorney’s office said. Kenneth Michaud, 41, was convicted of mayhem and of assault and battery causing serious bodily injury, but acquitted of assault with intent to murder, the office of District Attorney Daniel F. Conley said. Prosecutors alleged that Michaud dragged the 43-year-old Revere man behind Renzo’s restaurant in Revere, where the two had met to discuss dissolving their auto sales business, and strangled and punched him before biting off the tip of the victim’s nose.
