A woman in Danvers was pulled over and groped Tuesday evening by a man impersonating a police officer, authorities said. Danvers police said the woman was pulled over on State Road near Elliott Street around 6:15 p.m. by a black Dodge Charger with blue lights in the grille. The driver was wearing a dark blue uniform, presented a badge, and identified himself as an officer, police said. The suspect ordered the woman to get out of her vehicle and put her hands on the hood of her car and then began to frisk and grope her, Officer Eric Clarizia said.
