The Winchester Board of Health will be offering flu and tetanus/pertussis shots at a series of clinics for town residents. All clinics will be held at the Jenks Center, 109 Skillings Road. The clinics are scheduled on the following dates and times: 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday for Winchester residents 65 and older and high-risk individuals age 3 and older; 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1, for residents age 3 and older; 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9, for residents age 3 and older; 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15, for residents age 3 and older; and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, for residents age 6 months and older. Limited FluMist will be available to those who are ages 2 to 49. The cost is $10 for the flu vaccine and $42 for the tetanus/pertussis shot; there is no cost for individuals who have Aetna, Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Massachusetts or New Jersey (no other states), BMC HealthNet, Celticare, Cigna, Fall, Harvard Pilgrim Health Plan, Health New England, MassHealth, Network Health, Tufts Health Plan, Unicare, or Neighborhood Health Plan.
