Lottery for apartments at Symmes site

Applications are being accepted for a lottery to distribute apartments set aside for lower- and middle-income households in a new complex at the former site of Symmes Hospital off Summer Street (Route 2A). The 164-unit complex known as Arlington 360 will include 26 units for lower-income households and nine for middle-income families. The annual limits for the lower-income apartments range from $47,150 for a one-person household to $78,150 for a six-person household. The maximums for the middle-income units range from $79,296 for a single occupant to $131,505 for a household of six. The deadline for applications is Nov. 5; more information and applications can be found online at www.s-e-b.com/lottery . An informational meeting will be held Oct. 8 at 6 p.m. in the Arlington Senior Center at 27 Maple St. Developers Upton + Partners of Dedham and Virginia-based Jefferson Apartment Group teamed up to redevelop the old hospital site.
