The architectural firm Ai3 and the East Bridgewater Building Department have signed off on an occupancy permit for the new East Bridgewater Junior-Senior High’s gymnasium and walking track. However, the new synthetic turf field cannot be used for games or practices until the architect releases the field for the Building Department’s approval. “We are looking at early to mid-October for practices and mid to late-October for games with spectators present,” said East Bridgewater athletic director Clement Soscia. “The field itself is playable and ready, but there is still some construction being finished to the press box and concession stand, which is delaying full usage.” The School Committee has set Nov. 29 as the date for the official dedication and ribbon-cutting ceremony for the high school.
