Police arrested three Brockton men after a stabbing outside of a Bridgewater pub early Sunday, an incident that officials said they believe was gang-related. Bridgewater police responded to Broad Street Pub at 12:48 a.m., according to a police statement. Officers found Jacob Klapman, 21, of Abington, who had been stabbed nine times in the neck, abdomen, and back. Klapman was taken to South Shore Hospital. Police arrested James Chalmers, 22, Jason Hodo, 23, and his father, Nicholas Hodo, 44, all of Brockton, according to Bridgewater police. The three face charges of aggravated assault and battery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and attempted murder. They were being held Sunday at Plymouth County Correctional Facility and will be arraigned Monday in Brockton District Court. Authorities said Sunday that further information was not available.
