A rookie Curry College public safety officer is out of a job after his arrest Monday for allegedly breaking into his former girlfriend’s Marshfield home and brandishing a gun, officials said. Paul Kodzis, 26, is facing several charges including home invasion while armed, stemming from the incident that occurred at about 1:30 a.m. Monday, said Marshfield police Lieutenant Arthur Shaw. No shots were fired, and no one was hurt, Shaw said. Frances Jackson, a Curry spokeswoman, said Kodzis came on the job in March and was no longer employed by the Milton college as of Wednesday. She declined to say whether he was fired or if he resigned.
