City councilors are slated to vote Nov. 4 on whether to approve borrowing for a new senior center at Ward Park, as well as improvements to the park itself. The proposed 22,000-square-foot senior center would require $6.5 million in borrowing, and the park improvements would require borrowing $3 million. Both questions need a two-thirds majority approval from the 11-member board.
