Lyme disease committee looking for fenced properties

The Dover Board of Health Lyme Disease Committeeis asking landowners with fenced-in property for their help with a research project being conducted in town by the state Department of Public Health. The study will take place next year and will aim to measure tick density inside and outside fenced areas around town. Ideally, the fence should have been in place for several years. Landowners with fencing at least 6 feet tall that encloses an area of at least one-half acre interested in learning more about participating in the project are asked to provide contact information to bfroth@comcast.net.
