Recreation panel to study town fields

Carlisle’s Recreation Commission recently received permission from the Board of Selectmen to fund a survey of sports fields and other recreation facilities. The purpose of the survey is to assess the condition of the town’s facilities, and whether they are sufficient to meet the needs of residents. The commission also plans to look into the viability of converting other parcels of town land into playing fields.
